Community Service
As an expression of our Mission, all GCS students participate in ministry, missions, and outreach opportunities in our community. We encourage families of our Elementary students to find ways to be involved in community outreach and missional minded work. All GCS Upper School students log completed community service hours each year.
The primary (and ideal) place of service we recommend is through the family’s local church and associated ministries. Other options include ministries including such as Food Pantries, The Florida Baptist Children’s Home, CARE, and Pregnancy Solutions. Ultimately, our goal is to train students to participate in and support local and foreign missions to advance the Gospel.
